Presentation Skills – An Introduction
Audience
Anyone who wishes to improve their presentation skills and become more successful in their current role. Advisable for anyone who has to present to small or large groups of people
Purpose of the Course
The Presentations skills workshop is about being aware of the skills and attributes of a successful presenter. Our trainer will aim to equip you with the skills and confidence to be able to present yourself and your brand in a credible manner and be able to control difficult situations when they arise.
Course Objectives
By the end of this learning journey you will:
- Create and enhance the Presenter state to ensure that you are confident, prepared and fully focused
- Create the desired Audience state and learning experience within your environment and be able to
change and adapt these as required. - Begin to build rapport and engage your audience very quickly with the use of the KAV opening and the
power of the language you use - Have presented a 5 minute presentation and received personal feedback
Course Overview
Best practice and useful models – showing what makes a successful presenter
Methodology: delegates will experience video clips, trainer led activities and group work which highlight tried and tested methods of presenting to groups.
Embedding the learning – practice all techniques and learning outcomes of the day
Methodology: delegates get the opportunity to embed their learning from the day by delivering their own presentations to the group and receiving personal feedback.
